** - makes AC or PFC upon completion of training and transfer to his/her new command.
*** - WO is the first attained officer position. It can be attained once a pilot reaches the rank of Crew Chief (CC) or Master Sergeant (MSGT). Pilot must send a request to his C.O. asking to take the junior officer's course and test. Member will stay at his current rank and can be advanced to the next higher rank (not to exceed MCC or SGTMAJ) while waiting results of his test. Member will not advance above MCC or SGTMAJ without taking the JOC test.
