Order of the Chain of Command
OSF Chain of Command description:
The Chain of Command should be used in everything you do that involves the OSF. It goes all the way from a simple Flight Cadet to the most battle hardened Command Staffer. In the case of if you are a member with promotion or medal access and you do not have access to a certain rank or medal then you should follow this to avoid confusion and probably Courts-Marshal.
Chain of Command for Cadets:
1. Training Officer or Secretary of Fleet Operations
2. Navy/Marine Cadet
Chain of Command for Fleet members (Highest to lowest):
1. Commander in Chief
2. Secretary of Fleet Operations
3. Various Command Staff (if applicable)
4. Chief of Naval Operations/Chief of Marine Operations
5. Ship Commodore/Platoon Commander
6. Wing Commodore/Platoon XO
7. Squadron Leader (SQL)/Squad Leader (SQCO)
8. Flight Lieutenant (FLT)/Squad XO (SQXO)
9. Wing Man/Squad Member
10.Navy Cadet/Marine Cadet
As said before you need to follow this in any thing you do OSF. This includes where reports go, any sort of request, ect. This does not include Staff members as they are indirectly part of the chain. However, best way to look at Command Staff is that they go under the SFO or #2 position, so if you work under one of them then they would fall in your chain. For most Fleet members as a general rule will follow the above CoC as it pertains to them.
