Orion Strike Fleet

Strike Garrison Crimson Guard [SGCG]

  1. How does one join the Crimson Guard?
    • Answer: It takes practice first off. Secondly not eveyone is or will be cut out for the Crimson Guard. Thirdly this is a special unit within the OSF that is meant to show the true Elite of the Fleet. Rewards for combat activity are generally few and far between. So the Crimson Guard was created.
    • The Crimson Guard earn points by flying on-line multiplayer competitions. Usually this is only done with X-Wing Alliance (XWA) or X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter (XvT) and maybe changed in the future. Points area warded for each on-line competition. The points earned will attain you a certain rank within the Crimson Guard from the Elite (top) to the beginner (bottom).

Crimson Guard Ranks

Centurion 600
Sentinel 500
Warlord 400
Knight 300
Praetorian 200
Paladin 100
Crusader 50
Phalanx 25

  1. The Crimson Guard should be real competitive. When pilots engage in multiplayer events it becomes even more challenging, because you can win points and you can lose points, its all up to you. One medal that a pilot can win here is the Imperial Combat Medal, this is given for atleast winning 5 combat runs in a given multiplayer session. The points structure is as follows:

  2. 3 Points - For every combat win
  3. 2 Points - For every Imperial Combat Medal earned
  4. -1 Point - For every combat loss

  5. One thing that should be mentioned here are some rules and directions for the Multiplayer Competitions. You are allowed to fly pretty much whatever Star Fighter you desire. However, one thing to keep in mind is that ION Cannons will not be used. If it is told to or recorded by the Comp Moderator that another pilot was using ION Cannons while flying against anyone in a comp related event, other than just regular play (i..e for fun), then your score will not count and you will be barred from any further MP event's during that session. Any points earned for the MP comp in question will be lost.
